Globalisation

Globalisation is the process of increasing connectivity between different countries. It involves widening and deepening connections, as well as the interdependence and flows.

This ​A-Level Globalisation module will enable students to:​

  • Define what globalisation is, and identify the different types of globalisation;
  • Identify the causes of globalisation and factors that affect the acceleration of globalisation;
  • Explain the different consequences of globalisation;
  • Examine how globalisation has resulted to migration, deregulation of markets, and emergence of new state forms; and
  • Describe the negative impacts of globalisation on different sectors.
