Globalisation
Globalisation is the process of increasing connectivity between different countries. It involves widening and deepening connections, as well as the interdependence and flows.
This A-Level Globalisation module will enable students to:
- Define what globalisation is, and identify the different types of globalisation;
- Identify the causes of globalisation and factors that affect the acceleration of globalisation;
- Explain the different consequences of globalisation;
- Examine how globalisation has resulted to migration, deregulation of markets, and emergence of new state forms; and
- Describe the negative impacts of globalisation on different sectors.
