Cultural Diversity

CULTURAL DIVERSITY refers to a melting pot of many different cultures in an area, all of which are respected and treated equally. It is collective - shared by a group of people, which influences people’s way of life.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

  • Define what cultural diversity is;
  • Discuss how migration became a key process in creating places with cultural diversity; and
  • Identify and discuss areas and elements of cultural diversity
