USA Place Studies

In KS3 Geography, studying the USA as a place study helps students to develop a deeper understanding of physical and human geography on a global scale. Through focused themes, students can discover the diverse landscapes such as mountains, plains and coasts of the USA through physical geography studies. Human geography allows students to focus on exploring population distribution and cultural diversity of the USA. When examining economic activities, students can understand key industries like technology, agriculture, and manufacturing. Urbanization is an exciting aspect of place studies and students get to discover how cities like New York grow, along with its impacts, challenges, etc.
